Indenture from William Douglass to Thomas Merriwether, [manuscript], 1777 August 18.

The Rev. William Douglas deeds to his grandson, Thomas Merriwether, 1100 acres of land on the Three Notched Road, on Fork Creek, Goochland County, Va., adjoining the lands of John Fairis, John Williamson, Nicholas Merriwether, Tolly Parish, Joseph Lewis and Samuel Powers. Witnessed by Merriwether Pirice, George Holland and William H. Miller.
